Choose whole grains
Grains are the main source of energy for our brains as our bodies will convert the starch present in grains into sugar, and supply to our brain cells. Whole grains are referred to unrefined grains as they have more fibre, which help to steadily release sugar to brain cells and stabilise the energy released.

Opt for high-quality protein
Protein is the fundamental building block of every cell including our brain cells. To ensure healthy brain development, having enough good quality protein is essential.
Food choices: Tofu, quinoa, tempeh, baked beans, chickpea, and pumpkin seeds.
Fats can be good
