INGREDIENTS

  • Quick Pickled Onions
    • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
    • 1/2 tbsp of sugar
    • 1/4 tbsp of salt
    • 1/4 cup of balsamic vinegar

    Italian Vegan Grilled Cheese

INSTRUCTIONS

To make quick pickled onions, soak onion slices in balsamic vinegar with 1/2 tbsp of sugar and 1/4 tbsp of salt mixed in for about an hour.

To make sandwich, coat each slice of bread with a thin layer of Vegenaise®.
Place one slice, Vegenaise® side down, on a pan over medium-high heat.
Sprinkle cheese evenly over bread and place another slice of bread on top, Vegenaise® side up for about 2 minutes.
Peek inside and when the cheese is starting to melt, flip sandwich, open and insert tomato, basil, and quick pickled onions into sandwich. Cook until both sides are evenly browned.

做法

醃製洋蔥
把洋蔥放入意大利黑醋,加入1/2湯匙糖和1/4湯匙鹽浸泡大約一小時。

意式全素烤芝士三文治

  1. 在每片麵包上塗上薄薄的一層Vegenaise®
  2. 用中火燒熱一平鍋,將塗有Vegenaise®的一面放在上面煎
  3. 均勻地撒上全素芝士,然後把另一片麵包放在上面(塗有Vegenaise®的一面朝上),煎約2分鐘。
  4. 當全素芝士開始融化時,把三文治翻到另一邊,打開並放入西紅柿,羅勒,醃製洋蔥
    煮至兩面均勻焦黃即可
