Oatmilk Chocolate Mousse Tart

Ingredients (2-3 Servings)

Crust:

  • Oats
1 ¾ cup (124g)
  • Split Flour/ Whole Wheat Flour
1/4 cup (30g)
  • Baking Powder
1 tsp (5g)
  • Salt
1/2 tsp (3g)
  • Maple Syrup
1/4 cup (79g)
  • Oil
2 tbsps (30ml)

Filling:

  • Vegan Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
200 g
  • Ripe Avocado
3 pcs (408g)
  • Soft Pitted Dates
1/2 cup (74g)
  • Califia Farms Barista Blend Oat Milk
1/2 cup (120ml)
Steps

Crust

1. Preheat oven to 180°C and line the bottom of a tart pan with parchment paper.

 

2. Blend oats in a food processor until powdered.

 

3. In a mixing bowl, stir in the remaining ingredients with blended oats.

 

4. Place the dough in pie mold and press firmly down to make a crust. Then, bake for 15 minutes, set aside and cool down.

 

Filling

1. Melt chocolate chips in a double boiler.

 

2. In a food processor or blender, blend melted chocolate and the remaining filling ingredients until creamy.

 

3. When the crust is cooled, pour and spread the filling evenly in the mold. Then, refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
